Harvest has begun at Cross Creek Community Garden!

2026 wait list is being formed.  Email the garden manager if you're interested in being added - there will be beds available.

  • This is an organic garden!
  • 4 x 8 foot raised beds
  • 4x8 tall beds for those who need them (we are working to make them ADA accessible)
    • Beds are tall, ground surface is wood chips
    • We'll be improving the ground surface, and bringing water spigots closer to the beds in 2025

Cross Creek Community Garden is in its third growing season, and it looks like the best growing season yet!

We used some un-reserved beds for shared gardening, with harvest to be shared by gardeners and donated to the nearest food bank:  Connections 4 Life.  Drop off extra produce on Thursdays between 10:30 and 6:00 pm, at 501 East Iowa, in Fountain.

We ask that all gardeners participate in keeping the common areas clean.  Please weed around your beds!  Please do NOT compost pulled weeds that have gone to seed.

Annually, beds may be reserved beginning February 1, and ending April 30.  Returning gardeners may keep one or two beds, depending on number of beds they used in the prior year.  Other beds will be offered to the community again, one each, unless beds remain at the end of the sign-up period.  If tall beds have not been reserved by folks who need them, these beds will be devoted to shared gardening with produce being donated to the food bank.

Gardeners will need to sign an agreement regarding your commitments to the garden.   There will be a garden gathering in early April that we hope you will be able to attend, to clean up and amend the beds, discuss the season, and turn in documents and payment.  Documents will be provided for you at that time.

Garden beds will be $25 for the season.  This covers a small portion of the ongoing costs for the garden.  Cross Creek Metro District provides the rest, with your cooperation!
